Cheddar is an ideal base for touring Somerset, only 15 minutes drive from the M5, and with Glastonbury and Wells within easy reach, as well as many walks around the Mendips and Somerset Levels. We are also popular with cyclists on the Lands End to John OGroats ride, and there is secure cycle storage. There are a number of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.
